Child Predator From Springfield Arrested
Police believe the man sexually assaulted children ages four to 11 while working in homes as a handyman.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A suspected sexual predator targeting children has been arrested in Fairfax County. The victims are children aged four to 11 years old.
Jerberth Adallir Palma, 43, of Springfield is charged with three counts of sodomy of a child under the age of 13, one count of indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15, and one count of aggravated sexual battery of a child under the age of 13.
According to police, the suspect came into contact with children while working as a handyman in homes. Palma worked as an independent contractor around Fairfax County for years. (Sign up for real time alerts and a newsletter. iPhone users can download the Patch app in the App Store.)

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division and Child Abuse Section arrested Palma on Thursday, July 13. Police believe there were other victims. Anyone whose children may have come across Palma are asked to talk to detectives.
