Edison High Music Students Raising Funds Saturday
Uniformed music students will be going door to door collecting donations to help fund performance and competition season costs.

Uniformed music students will be going door-to-door in the Edison High community on Saturday, September 12, collecting donations to help fund their performance and competition season costs. A tax-deductible contribution to the booster organizations will help continue the tradition of excellence in music education and community pride. Under the direction of Charlie Mitchell, the Edison bands—Marching Eagles, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Indoor Winter Guard—depend on the support of the Edison community.
The Marching Eagles perform the halftime show at all home football games. This fall, home games are Friday, September 18; Friday, September 25; Friday, October 16; and Friday, October 23. Winter and spring concerts are open to the public, free, and feature performances by all Edison Bands.
Visit www.edisonband.org for a calendar of performance dates. Under the direction of Anna Robinson, the Edison Choruses—Innovation, Ingenuity, Impact and Incandescence—work throughout the year to fine-tune their voices. Edison choruses perform at community events throughout the year and offer free concerts to the public in the winter and the spring.
