Animal Control Takes Eight Cats from Kingstowne Area Home
Officers responded to a report of an animal welfare check.
Officers from Fairfax County’s Animal Control have taken eight cats from a Kingstowne area home, after receiving a call for a welfare check, according to Fairfax County Police.
The animal welfare investigation took place in the 5600 block of Bloomfield Drive Sunday at about 12:40 p.m., according to police.
Eight cats were impounded and transported to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, according to FCPD. Police did not say why the cats were taken. The case remains under investigation.

In Fairfax County, there are no limits on the number of cats that can live in a household.
