Soak up the sunset and relax as you cruise the beautiful shoreline of Lake Accotink. You may spot a heron settling in for the night or a deer coming to the water’s edge for a late drink. Sit back and listen while your tour boat guide shares interesting facts about the park’s history, the lake and the surrounding area. Beverages are served onboard. The cost is $6 per person.
Cruises are scheduled for four Saturday evenings this summer at 7 p.m. and last one hour. You can reserve your spot on May 21, June 25, July 16 or August 22, 2011. Gusty winds or rain may cancel this cruise. Reservations and advanced payment are required. Refunds are issued only if the cruise is cancelled.
