Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), the largest school system in Virginia, is searching for individuals to serve as student monitors and school public health/COVID case managers. FCPS school administrators will conduct virtual interviews with candidates at a Virtual Job Fair on Friday, September 24.

Individuals interested in becoming a part of a dynamic and diverse community are encouraged to register to attend one or both of the following sessions:

  • Middle and high school session(link is external), 9 to 11 a.m.
  • Elementary school session(link is external), noon to 2 p.m.    
  • Student monitors provide supervision for students in the classroom, cafeteria, and outside.  A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. A student monitor earns $15.73 per hour.

    A school public health/COVID case manager monitors and oversees COVID-19 data in schools in collaboration with the Fairfax County Health Department. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree is required. A school public health/COVID case manager earns $29.37 an hour.
