Fairfax County Students To Get 1 Day Excused For Protests: Report

Students from grades seven to 12 will be eligible for the excused absence, according to a media report.

FAIRFAX, VA — The largest school district in Virginia will begin allowing students one day off to participate in protests.

WTOP reported that Fairfax County Public Schools will implement the policy, allowing one excused absence per school year. Students from grades seven to 12 can use the excused absence.
