KINGSTOWNE, VA—Fiona's Irish Pub, a beloved neighborhood bar at Kingstowne Towne Center, has suddenly closed its doors.

A Reddit user shared a photo of a sign on the front door of the restaurant. The sign reads, "Due to circumstances beyond our control Fiona's Irish Pub is permanently closed."

The restaurant had been open since 2014, replacing King Street Blues. Owner Martin White, a native of Dublin, Ireland, aimed to provide authentic Irish fare and the feel of a traditional Irish pub. Fiona's Irish Pub had opened a second location in Crystal City in April.
