Fire Starts At Newington Strip Mall
There were no injuries during Thursday night's fire in Newington.
A fire started at a Newington strip mall Thursday night, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department says.
Around 8:32 p.m., Fairfax County and Fort Belvoir firefighters responded to the 8000 block of Rolling Road. The fire appeared to be coming from the rear of the building and was quickly put out within 10 minutes.
There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
