Broad Daylight Burglary Reported At Franconia Area Home

FRANCONIA, VA—A woman left home for most of the day Wednesday and returned to find a break-in had occurred in broad daylight.

Police say the home, located in the Franconia Police District, was broken into when the woman was gone between 11:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. The victim came home to find a door and window open.

• 6400 block of Telegraph Road, license plates from vehicle
• 6800 block of Beulah Street, equipment from business
• 6100 block of Franconia Road, money from person
• 6400 block of Landsdowne Center, purses from business
