Giving Springfield Resident Gets Reward With Lottery Win

The Springfield man enjoys buying food for others, but this time he's the recipient of a large prize.

Victor Soriano typically enjoys spending his money on buying food for others, even strangers. "And then if I have money left over I play the lottery," he said.

The Springfield resident scored the top prize of $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 game on July 17. He matched all five of the winning numbers, which were 5-11-15-21-27. Soriano told lottery officials he selected a group of numbers that he’s played in the past.
