Hit-And-Run Crash Injures Pedestrian On Edsall Road
Police believe the striking vehicle was last seen entering Interstate 395.
SPRINGFIELD, VA — A pedestrian was struck in a hit-and-run crash Sunday in the Springfield area.
The crash happened on Edsall Road near Cherokee Avenue, Fairfax County Police tweeted after 7 p.m. Police believe the vehicle left the scene and proceeded onto Interstate 395. The vehicle is a black sedan, but there is no information on make, model and the license plate.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and initially had life-threatening injuries. The injuries were downgraded to non-life-threatening but are critical.
