Kingstowne Restaurant Inspections: Dirty Lemons, Limes In Drinks

KINGSTOWNE, VA — Fairfax County restaurants regularly undergo health inspections, with the frequency depending on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

The Virginia Department of Health notes in a statement, “In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations." While violations like malfunctioning refrigerators and food that's not warm or cold enough often pop up, health inspectors sometimes note more critical violations.

Here are the results from recent inspections around Kingstowne, Rose Hill and Springfield, including restaurants that passed with no violations. Among the violations were employees doing tasks after handling raw chicken at House of Dynasty and lemon and limes put in drinks with bare hands at Lucky's Sports Theatre and Grill. Both violations were corrected during inspections.
