Wednesday, 6 p.m. at Trailside Park, the AA-A's held a comfortable 10-run lead in the second inning, but a big comeback by the Rockies ended A's' hopes in a 12-11 loss Wednesday at TS-2.
Nathan Gunnison racked up three RBIs on one hit for A's. He doubled in the second inning.

A's jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the top of the first. The scoreboard lit up again for A's when Bailey scored on a walk by Lleyton McFarland, Wessel scored when Jonathan Filz was hit by a pitch, Borda scored on a walk by Dylan Brittingham, and McFarland scored when Gavin Bergen-Hill was hit by a pitch.
The Rockies survived the A's' surge and put up five runs of their own in the second. The Rockies scored on a bases loaded walk by Coleman, a walk by Austin, a walk by Jack, a walk by Michael F, and an RBI single by Scooter. The Rockies stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring six runs on an RBI single by Scooter and five bases loaded walks.
