Man Accused Of Carjacking At Springfield Motel: Police

Officers witnessed the carjacking when responding to a different call, Fairfax County Police say.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Fairfax County Police allegedly caught a person in a carjacking Saturday in Springfield.

The carjacking happened around 8:59 p.m. at the Motel 6 at 6868 Springfield Boulevard. Officers were responding to another call in the area when they saw a man take a man's car keys. The man tried to start the car but was arrested by police. No injuries were reported.

Calvin Kyle, 32, of Fairmount Heights, Md. was charged with carjacking, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
