Man Assaulted, Gets Car Window Smashed In Springfield
Police are seeking two people that assaulted the victim and smashed his car window in broad daylight.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Police are seeking a pair of unknown suspects in a broad daylight assault and robbery from Friday, Oct. 20 in Springfield.
Around 2 p.m., two unknown people assaulted the victim in the 6700 block of Backlick Road, which is in the area of Brookfield Plaza. The victim attempted to flee, and that's when the suspects smashed his car windows.

In other news, the suspects of another assault weren't able to get away. Around 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, a man was assaulted when walking to his car at Springfield Plaza. The two suspects attempted to rob him, but police were able to thwart their efforts. Henry Agbemble, 34, and Alpheus Bowman, 47, of Woodbridge were arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
