Motorcyclist Dies After Car Makes U-Turn In Springfield: Police
Police say a motorcyclist died in the hospital after the crash on Loisdale Road.
SPRINGFIELD, VA ā A motorcyclist died in a crash in Springfield Wednesday, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police say an eastbound Tesla driver was making a u-turn on Loisdale Road at Loisdale Court and struck a westbound Honda motorcycle around 1:40 p.m. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where he died. He was identified as Wayne Marbury, 66, of Woodbridge.
The Tesla driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Charges are dependent on further investigation. Police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
