Man Scores $1 Million Lottery Ticket In Kingstowne Area
The auto mechanic from Alexandria won a top prize in the 20X The Money game.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—"No way!" That was the reaction of an Alexandria auto mechanic when he found out his lottery ticket and won $1 million.
Logan Keator had some extra cash and bought a 2X The Money ticket at Shoppers, 7005 Manchester Boulevard in the Kingstowne area. On the way home with his girlfriend, he scratched the ticket and learned he won the top prize.
The chance of scoring that lucky ticket are 1 in 1,224,000. Keator had been the second person to claim a top $1 million prize in the 2X The Money game.

"It feels crazy!" he told Virginia Lottery officials as he claimed his prize. "I still can’t believe it!"
Keator had the option to take the full $1 million over 30 years or a one-time cash prize of $610,874 before taxes. He chose the second option. There are no immediate plans for his winnings other than to pay bills.
