Man Steals Money From Customer Leaving Springfield Bank

The victim had just left the bank in Springfield when the man took money and fled.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A customer was robbed immediately after leaving the Capital One Bank in Springfield Thursday.

The robbery happened around noon in the parking lot. The suspect approached the victim and demanded money. He fled after the victim handed over an unknown amount of money. Police did not mention if a weapon was involved.

It was unclear if the victim had a clear suspect descriptions. The investigation continues.

  • Larceny: 6000 block of Backlick Road, bicycle from residence
  • Larceny: 6800 block of Commerce Street, cell phone from business
  • Larceny: 6500 block of Springfield Towne Center, jacket from business

Rose Hill

  • Larceny: 5700 block of Larpin Lane, license plates from vehicle
