New App Finds Closest Bathroom from Franconia Metro
The website gives directions to the closest bathroom for every station in the DC Metro system.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The newest D.C. Metro Silver line stations from McLean to Wiehle-Reston East feature bathrooms, but at other stations, a bathroom is a rare and valuable find.
Owners of the local HVAC servicing company Michael and Son said they decided to band together and create an online map to help all the desperate commuters with full bladders out there.
"If you’ve ever gone searching for a toilet while on your daily commute, you may have found it to be inaccessible or entirely nonexistent. But, when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go!" the company says on the map site.

The app identifies Metro stations with a dot and the closest bathroom with a blue toilet icon. Clicking the toilet icon gives directions from the station and an ease of access rating.
Unlike most stations in Virginia, Franconia-Springfield has an red "No" icon showing there is no bathroom immediately near the station. Clicking the icon shows the nearest public bathroom is at TGI Fridays more than half a mile away.
