New Sports Bar, The Greene Turtle, Now Open at Hilltop Village

Looking for a spot to watch the Washington Redskins football game today? Kickoff is at 1 p.m., plenty of time to get over to a new sports bar that opened Friday in town.

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille is now open at Hilltop Village Center (see map). Hilltop is the shopping center anchored by the new Wegmans grocery store, off of Telegraph Road.

Hours at “The Turtle” are: Sunday-Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Thursday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The menu includes burgers, wraps, gourmet tacos, desserts and entrees such as steaks, crab cakes and more. The bar offers beer, wine and cocktails.

Be sure to ask about a possible 15 percent discount for military, advertised on the Greene Turtle Alexandria Web site.
