Person Charged After Theft Of Weapon At Springfield Plaza

There was no report of injuries at the shopping center.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — Fairfax County Police responded to a larceny of a weapon at Springfield Plaza shopping center Tuesday.

Officers responded to the 6400 block of Springfield Plaza after 10:44 a.m., according to a police spokesperson. The item stolen was a weapon, but no one was assaulted or injured. Police are not disclosing the exact location of the incident.

Police took Sami Al-Humighani, 26, of Springfield into custody and him charged with larceny.
