Photos: First Ever Taste of Springfield 2017

Did you miss the first ever Taste of Springfield? We've rounded up some photos from the event.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—The first Taste of Springfield debuted Sunday, July 30 as a platform for showcasing local restaurants and other businesses. It was held in the parking lot by Saks at Springfield Town Center from noon to 6 p.m.

The event was free for the public, but tasting tickets were $1 each. At least 19 food vendors offered select menu items, including:

Other businesses sold their products and services. Some of the activities offered throughout the day were massages and live musical performances. In addition, the Rotary Club of Bailey's Crossroads had a classic 1965 Ford Mustang it is auctioning off. (If you missed it, you can still buy tickets online. The winner will be selected Sept. 24.) Children could also participate in activities like rock climbing and moon bounces.
