Police: Bomb Threat Gets Ex-Checkers Worker Arrested

Glen Burnie man, 19, is charged with disorderly conduct and making an arson threat.

A former employee at a fast-food restaurant in Glen Burnie is facing charges after walking into the establishment on Tuesday afternoon and making a bomb threat, according to Anne Arundel County police.

At about 3:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of a bomb threat at the Checkers restaurant at 102 Mountain Road, a police report stated. Employees told them that James Terrell Carr, 19, the former worker, came into the business and demanded his paycheck. He allegedly said that if he did not receive his paycheck immediately, he would “blow up” the establishment.

Carr left the store before the officers arrived, but they went to his residence at 355 Addison Drive in Glen Burnie, where he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and making an arson threat.
