Police Seek Man Charged With Springfield Abduction

Police are asking for the public's help finding a man charged with an abduction in late January.

On January 31, police say Robert Lee McLaughlin Jr. went to the home of a 25-year-old woman in Annandale. After she agreed to get in his car, they went to Springfield Plaza. An argument broke out between McLaughlin and the woman, and McLaughlin allegedly refused to let the woman out of the car. Eventually, the woman reached her home, uninjured.

McLaughlin is described as a white male, 33 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blues eyes.
