Pool Season: When Pools Are Open Near Kingstowne In 2022

KINGSTOWNE, VA — Warm weather is starting to stick around, and many area residents are likely eager for the pool season to begin.

For many outdoor pools around Kingstowne, openings typically begin Memorial Day weekend. Hours may be limited when Fairfax County Public Schools is in session.

The Kingstowne Residential Owners Corporation runs two pools, one at the Synder Center and the other at South Center. Pools will open for the season on Saturday, May 28. Membership is typically only available to members of the homeowners association and their guests. Members can seek more information about the 2022 pool season from the homeowners association.

There are other options for outdoor pools near Kingstowne, from membership-based swim clubs to public pools. Below are the pools and their hours for the summer.

Hayfield Farm Swim Club: 7820 Hayfield Road, Alexandria (membership only)

• May 21-June 2: 4 p.m.-8 p.m. weekdays, 12 p.m.-8 p.m. weekends; reserved for swim team with one lane open for lap swimming from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 21, 2 p.m.-4 p.m. May 22, and 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. May 23-25
• June 3-10: 1:30 p.m.-8 p.m. weekdays, 12 p.m.-8 p.m. weekends
