Kingstowne Pursuit Leads To Crash With Another Vehicle: Police
One person was injured when a crash happened during a police pursuit in Kingstowne.
KINGSTOWNE, VA — One person was injured when a police pursuit led to a crash with another vehicle in Kingstowne Wednesday, according to Fairfax County Police.
The incident happened around 6:56 p.m. on Kingstowne Boulevard at Manchester Boulevard. Police say an officer tried to stop a 1999 Honda Accord for a traffic violation. A pursuit ensued when the driver did not stop. The Honda crashed into another vehicle, leading to non-life-threatening injuries for a passenger.
The driver, Kualie Crews, 23, of Alexandria, was charged with eluding, possession of a firearm with a schedule I/II drug, possession of a schedule I/II drug with intent to sell and resisting arrest. Ahmed Johnson, 24, of Alexandria, was charged with possession of a schedule I/II drug with intent to sell and resisting arrest.
