Six Residents Displaced From Kingstowne Fire

Six residents lost their home when a fire started in a Kingstowne home Friday afternoon.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—Six residents were forced out of their home in a Friday afternoon townhouse fire in Kingstowne. All residents safely escaped.

Red Cross is responding with assistance.

Firefighters responded to the a call in the 6200 block of Les Dorson Lane around 3 p.m., according to Deputy Chief Brad Cochrane. Crews quickly extinguished the fire in the basement of the middle unit home.

Investigators were on the scene to determine what caused the fire. The severity of damages is not yet known.
