Shoplifter Leads Police On Chaotic Chase In Kingstowne
Just as the Super Bowl was about to start, a shoplifter led police on a wild chase from the Kingstowne Kohl's.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—A man is facing charges after shoplifting from the Kingstowne Kohl's and leading police on a wild chase Sunday.
It was around 6:15 p.m. that the suspect hid stolen merchandise and fled the store. He drove away and refused to cooperate when police initially tried to pull him over.
That led to the suspect running a red light and speeding away from the shopping center. Officers used the PIT maneuver to eventually stop the car. No injuries were reported from the pursuit.

Anthony Miller, 35, of Centreville was arrested and charged with petit larceny, misdemeanor speed to elude, possession of burglarious tools, possession of paraphernalia, and disregarding a red light.
Police did not indicate the value or kinds of items stolen.

Franconia District officers were able to catch this suspect, but they continue to investigate numerous larcenies called in over the weekend:
- 7200 block of Beulah Street, merchandise from business
- 6100 block of Franconia Road, license plate from vehicle
- 5700 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, merchandise from business
- 5900 block of Kingstowne Towne Center, cash and gift cards from business
- 5900 block of Kingstowne Towne Center, merchandise from business
- 6300 block of Ralston Way, cell phone and credit cards from residence
