Shoplifters Threaten Worker At Knifepoint In Kingstowne: Police
The men fled the store with shopping carts full of stolen laundry detergent and diapers.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—An employee at a Kingstowne Towne Center business trying to stop a robbery in progress was threatened with a knife Thursday, Fairfax County Police say.
Around 2:39 p.m., an employee reported two men entered the store and stole several items. The men tried to leave with two shopping carts filled with laundry detergent and diapers.
When the employee tried to stop them, one pulled out a knife and pointed it at him. The men fled the area in a blue Kia 4-door sedan.

Police did not identify the business in their report. A Giant Food grocery store and Walmart are located in the 5800 block.
The suspects were described as black men. One is likely around 50 years old, 5 foot 9 to 6 foot tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds and with black hair and a white beard. He was wearing a turquoise hat, brown shirt and jeans. The second man is around 30 years old, 5 foot 10 to 6 foot tall, weighing between 285 to 315 pounds and with black hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, denim shorts and black sneakers.
