Sketch Released Of Suspect Who Exposed Himself To Teen

Police continue to seek a suspect for the indecent exposure targeting a girl playing outside.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A new sketch could provide more leads into an indecent exposure case targeting a teenage girl in Springfield earlier in August. Fairfax County detectives are canvassing the Newington Station area around 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15 for any information on the suspect.

The teenage victim was playing soccer around 7:50 p.m. on Saturday August 4 at Northumberland Road and Godolphin Drive when a man approached her from behind. Police say the man touched her from behind and exposed himself. The suspect fled afterward, and the girl was not injured.

The man was described as a white man around 30 years old with long brown hair.
