Slick Robber Gets Into Locked Garage At Springfield Home
The robber knew just where to find the garage door opener to enter the garage at a Springfield home.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A robber in Springfield gave residents a lesson the hard way about leaving car doors unlocked.
The incident happened Tuesday around 2:27 a.m. in the 6200 block of Willowfield Way. The unknown suspect took a garage door opener from an unlocked car, entered the garage and stole a bike. It is unclear if the garage opener is still missing.

This was not the only time a garage burglar has struck in Fairfax County recently. Police took a report of a robber stealing a garage opener and actually entering the house in the 12600 block of Tolman Road, Fairfax Thursday, Nov. 2.
