Snake Escapes In Science Lab At Hayfield: Police
The ssssneaky reptile slithered back to its cage with the help of an animal protection officer.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—A large snake snuck its way out of an enclosure in a science lab at Hayfield Secondary School Monday.
The snake got out after midnight Monday, according to WTOP. Fairfax County Police wrote in a Facebook post the snake's escape from its cage set off motion alarms.
Luckily, the snake's escape was contained to the science lab. Police said the snake did not enter the hallways.

Animal Protection Police Officer Siobhan Chase responded on scene to get the snake safely back in the enclosure. Fairfax County Police shared a photo of Chase with the sneaky classroom pet on Facebook.
