Springfield Company In Top 500 Of Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing List

Black Bear Technology Solutions was among five Fairfax County companies in the top 500.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — The Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies is out, and a Springfield company was among five from Fairfax County in the top 500.

Springfield's Black Bear Technology Solutions ranked 331st. The IT management firm had 1,413 percent three-year growth.

The Inc. 5000 list ranks companies by percentage revenue growth from 2017 to 2020. Companies can qualify if they were founded and producing revenue by March 31, 2017 and are U.S. based. On average, companies on the list have 167 percent growth. The list contains 529 newly founded companies and 2,560 past honorees.

The top-ranked Fairfax County company on the list was Annandale's PingWind at 75th. Other Fairfax County companies in the top 500 are Herndon's Centurion Consulting Group, Fairfax's Kreative Technologies, and Reston's Old Dominion Strategies.

Overall, 128 on the Inc. 5000 list hail from Fairfax County and 331 hail from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Other Springfield companies on the list include West 4th Strategy ranked 634, De Lune Corp ranked 977th, Perfecta ranked 2,770, Modern Technology Solutions ranked 3,871, Xpresspromotion ranked 4,258 and Exterior Medics ranked 4,417. Kingstowne/Franconia-based World Services ranked 2,136 and Thomas Solutions Incorporated ranked 4,138.
