Springfield Man Enters Stranger's Home In Middle Of Night

A drunk Springfield man gave some residents quite the fright when he walked into their home after midnight.

BURKE, VA—It's one thing to walk into your own home late at night after drinking. It's another to accidentally appear in a stranger's home.

That was the case Thursday night in Burke. A drunk man entered a Burke home in the 9500 block of Meadow Grove Court after midnight, thinking it was his friend's. The residents called police and held the intruder until they arrived.

Edvin Aristondo Alfaro, 22, of Springfield was charged with unlawful entry and drunk in public. No mugshot is available.
