Springfield Man Wanted In Wrong-Way I-66 Crash
Two people were injured after a driver went the wrong way on I-66 and fled from the crash scene.

ARLINGTON, VA—A Springfield man is wanted for the wrong-way crash on Interstate 66 in Arlington that injured two people Sunday, July 8. Victor Ebai, 28, is the suspect in the hit-and-run, authorities say.
Around 4:35 a.m. on Sunday, a Secret Service officer saw the driver going in the wrong direction on I Street NW and tried to pull him over. The suspect did not pull over and continued on to the eastbound lanes of I-66 heading westbound, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
The suspect's vehicle struck another car head on. Two people were in the car, which caught fire. The passenger had to be pulled from the vehicle. The two victims went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect fled on foot, and police could not immediately locate him with the Fairfax County Police helicopter. Warrants for Ebai were issued for felony hit and run and felony eluding.
