Springfield Robbers Fill Trash Bag With Cigarettes: Police
Police are seeking two suspects who took a cash register and cigarettes.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Fairfax County Police say a pair robbed a Springfield 7-Eleven in the early morning hours on Saturday, Jan. 19.
The robbery happened around 3:20 p.m. at the Brookfield Plaza 7-Eleven, which is open 24 hours. One of the suspects went behind the counter and filled a garbage bag with cigarettes, while the other took the drawer portion of the cash register.
Police did not mention any weapons being involved. The men fled toward Backlick Road.

One of the suspects was described as a black man, around age 20 to 30, 5 foot 9 and wearing a baseball hat, black jacket and black or gray sweatpants. The second suspect was a black man, age 20 to 30, 6 foot and wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
