Springfield Town Center Restaurant Launches 'Build Your Own Dinner Menu'

Wood Ranch BBQ + Grill is introducing a "Build Your Own Dinner" menu starting Wednesday.

Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill is introducing a Build-Your-Own Dinner Menu at its restaurant at Springfield Town Center.

Wood Ranch’s first location on the East Coast will now provide diners with the option to mix and match meat dishes, sides, and sauces to enjoy their ultimate combination of quality meats and flavors.

The family-style dining option makes sharing meals easy, so diners can order up a selection and try a bit of all the unique flavors.

The new menu will be available initially from 4 p.m. to close, as a dine-in only option. Lunch orders will be accommodated if requested and the hours of service may change with popularity. Diners can order from a selection of meats in small, medium, or large portions, along with a choice of Signature Sides and Premium Sides.

“We think this menu offers flexibility in selection and prices to accommodate every budget and appetite.” said Alex Benes, Wood Ranch’s culinary director. “So, we wanted to do a sort of BBQ menu where you can create your own dining experience.”

The menu includes:

  • The signature Wood Ranch Tri Tip, an iconic California sirloin cut, Wood Ranch’s #1 seller and available in 4, 7, and 16 oz. portions.
  • All-American Baby Back Ribs
  • Fire-Roasted Chicken
  • Double R Ranch® Brisket
  • St. Louis Ribs
  • Carolina Pulled Pork
  • Pecan Wood Smoked Beef Ribs
  • Boneless BBQ Chicken Breast

The Signature Sides are available for $3.95 and include Original Peanut Coleslaw, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Skin-On Fries, Lauren’s Favorite Mac & Cheese, and more. Premium Sides are $4.95, and include Loaded Baked Potato, Sweet Potato Fries, Asparagus, and more.

Sauces

In addition, diners can add to their dishes with a superb selection of sauces, starting with the “Original” flavor in Santa Maria style. This sauce is sweet, with soft black pepper notes, and is similar to a Kansas City sauce. Hailing from the Santa Maria Valley in California, it is Wood Ranch’s signature sauce and goes well with everything.

Chipotle-cherry sauce is the second-most popular sauce at Wood Ranch. This complex sauce balances heat and spice with savory and sweet.

The third sauce, habanero-peach provides a slight kick from the habaneros, but the sweet peach balances the flavor out nicely. There is also the Western Carolina-style sauce used on the pulled pork, a complex and tangy vinegar-based sauce.

All sauces are gluten free, and they are also sold to-go in the restaurants so diners can enjoy the great taste at home.
