Store Employee Tied Up in Tuesday Night Robbery at Gunpoint

Three suspects robbed the H.H. Gregg store at Loisdale Center, police say; one who fled on foot was caught.

Fairfax County Police say an employee was tied up and a local store was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

The incident took place in the 6600 block of Loisdale Road, at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. That’s when officers were called to the H.H. Gregg store for a report of a robbery, according to police.

Preliminary investigation revealed that two men entered the store and made their way to the warehouse section, police said. An employee confronted the suspects, at which point they displayed a handgun, and then restrained the employee with a rope, according to police. Once in the rear of the store, with the help of a third suspect waiting outside, merchandise was loaded onto a vehicle, police said.

Two of the suspects fled in the truck and one suspect fled on foot. The suspect on foot was apprehended by responding officers. The truck was located a short time later but the two suspects had fled. The victim did not require medical attention.

The two suspects that fled were described as two black males. Charges are pending and the case remains under investigation.
