Street Robbery Near Beulah Amended to Malicious Wounding

Police ask for public's help in finding culprits

Police say a November attack initially believed to be a botched street robbery was actually a malicious wounding.

On November 8, 2010, around 6:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man bicycling in the area of Windham Avenue and Windsor Avenue, near Beulah, was attacked by two men with what seemed to be a small, wooden bat. The victim received multiple injuries in the attack on his face and head, and was given emergency medical care.

The suspects are described as two black men. One is in his late 20's, muscular, tall, and with short hair.
