Substitute Teacher Caught Drunk In Class, Is Fired
A Fairfax County substitute teacher is facing charges after students found him unresponsive and drunk in a class.

(Updated 4 p.m. Friday) FAIRFAX, VA—A substitute teacher is facing charges for coming to class drunk Friday, Fairfax County Police say.
The substitute teacher was filling in for an art teacher for grades 10-12 at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax. Students found him passed out at his desk. He was unresponsive, and students contacted the school resource officer after trying to wake him up.
Investigations found the teacher was drunk. Konbeh Koroma, 24, of Springfield was arrested and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He faces drunk in public charges.

John Torre, a spokesman for Fairfax County Public Schools, told Patch in an email Koroma has been terminated from the position.
