Taxi Driver Carjacked At Gunpoint In Kingstowne
A taxi driver was carjacked at gunpoint in Kingstowne early Wednesday morning, police say.

KINGSTOWNE VA ā Fairfax County Police are searching for an unknown suspect in a taxi cab carjacking in Kingstowne early Wednesday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., police were called to the 7000 block of Manchester Boulevard. The 62-year-old cab driver was in the car when a masked man over his face opened the door and implied a gun, demanding money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of money and was pulled from the car. The suspect got in the car and drove away. The victim was not injured.

The suspect was described as black, about 6 feet tall and skinny. The cab is a 2015 black and yellow Toyota Highlander marked with āSpringfield Taxiā on the sides. Its Virginia license plate number is H130961.
