Teacher Arrested for Touching Student: Police
Fairfax County Police is asking the public to come forward with any information in this case.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — Fairfax County Police has arrested a school teacher for allegedly touching a 16-year-old female student. The student was not injured, according to police.
Eric D. Pittelkau, 64, of Springfield, turned himself in Friday, charged with misdemeanor assault and battery.
According to police, the arrest followed a months-long investigation that began Dec. 18, 2015.

Pittelkau is a teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools.
Detectives would like to speak with anyone else who has information that may assist with this investigation, according to a police release.
