Teen Ambushed In Robbery Near Kingstowne Towne Center

A group of robbers made away with a teenager's money Tuesday near Kingstowne Towne Center.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—Police are seeking a group of men in connection with robbing a teenager not far from Kingstowne Towne Center Tuesday.

The victim was walking to his car around 6:30 p.m. when he was ambushed by the robbers in the 6600 block of South Van Dorn Street.

The three men approached him and demanded money. They ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured. Police did not say a weapon was involved. The suspects police are looking for are men in their early 20s, around 6 feet tall and with thin builds.

In an unrelated incident, police are seeking information on a stolen 2008 Jeep Liberty from the 6100 block of Rose Hill Drive.
