Teen Assaulted, Robbed In Kingstowne Area (ICYMI)

A teen had his hoverboard stolen after being assaulted in the Kingstowne area. ICYMI

KINGSTOWNE, VA -- A 14-year-old boy had his hoverboard stolen after an assault at Morning View Lane and View Lane in the Kingstowne area last Saturday, June 3.

Around 4:12 p.m., police say two men were following the boy was riding his hoverboard. One of the men asked if he could ride the hoverboard. The boy ignored them and soon was hit from behind, causing him to fall off the hoverboard and lose his glasses. The suspects took the hoverboard and fled. The victim did not need medical attention.

Police say the two unknown suspects were last seen in a older, tan, four-door car. The suspects were described as black, aged 18 to 22 years old and around 180 pounds with loose curls. One suspect wore a white shirt.
