Things Kingstowne Is Missing, According To Readers

KINGSTOWNE, VA—We asked what was one thing Kingstowne was missing, and you answered. In fact, the responses were overwhelming when we posed the question on Facebook.

The post got 120 comments, and we went through each response to understand what residents want in their future here in Kingstowne. We tallied the top responses by counting likes and multiple comments expressing the same concerns.

Readers expressed interest in specific businesses like Chick-Fil-A, Wawa, Sonic and Sheetz, but interestingly not as many voted for more independently-owned businesses. Meanwhile community improvements like a sidewalk on Telegraph Road near the Lee District Park and dog park got plenty of support. Patch will follow up with officials to check the feasibility of these businesses and improvements.
