There are major delays Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 South due to a vehicle fire, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. NewsChannel 8 described the vehicle as a dump truck.
On I-95, at mile marker 167 in Fairfax County, motorists can expect major delays due to a vehicle fire, VDOT said.
The south center lane, right lane, and right shoulder were closed at 10:45 a.m., the most recent update from VDOT.
Traffic backups are approximately three miles.
