Two Men Break Into Springfield Area Home In Broad Daylight
A resident of a Springfield area home caught two unwelcome visitors breaking in during the daytime.

NORTH SPRINGFIELD, VAāA North Springfield resident caught two people breaking into his or her home Tuesday but thwarted any attempts to do anything else.
Around 3:10 p.m. in the 5300 block of Juliet Street, the homeowner was in the basement and the front door open. The resident encountered the two unknown suspects in the foyer. When they saw the homeowner, both fled.
The unknown suspects were described as Hispanic males, around 15 or 16 years old, 5 foot 9 to 5 foot 10 and thin. The first man was described as wearing a black T-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes and a dark brown canvass backpack. The second was wearing a white shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.
