Two Motorcyclists Lead Officers on Chase, Arrested on Numerous Charges: Police
Traffic pursuit took place Wednesday near Fairfax County Parkway and Hooes Road in the Springfield area.
Two motorcyclists led Fairfax County police on a chase Wednesday near Fairfax County Parkway and Hooes Road, according to the FCPD crime report released Thursday.
The incident began near Fairfax County Parkway and Hooes Road (see map) Wednesday around 1:19 p.m., police said. That’s when an officer attempted to stop two motorcycles for traffic violations, according to police.
The drivers disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and attempted to elude the officer, FCPD said. Responding officers were able to stop the motorcycles, according to police.

Police arrested Christian U. Artiga, 27, of Alexandria and Rosa A. Padilla, 28, of Alexandria.
Artiga was charged with reckless driving, misdemeanor disregarding law enforcement signal to stop, driving on a suspended license 3rd offense, police said. Padilla was charged with reckless driving, misdemeanor disregarding law enforcement signal to stop, and possession of marijuana, according to police.
