VDOT Worker Saves Life At Springfield Interchange

A person was climbing a wall on a bridge above the Springfield interchange when a VDOT worker stepped in.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A Virginia Department of Transportation worker came to the rescue of a person climbing a bridge above the Springfield interchange on the Capital Beltway on Saturday, July 6.

Adrian Guziewski was the first to arrive after a call about people walking on the Capital Beltway, WTOP reported. Upon locating the woman climbing a wall on a bridge, he pulled her down to safety while offering reassuring words.
