Warm Cheese: Kingstowne Area Restaurant Violations

KINGSTOWNE, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in late June and early July. Among the violations was warm mozzarella cheese stored in the refrigerator at Mediterranean Gourmet Market. This violation was corrected during the inspection. Also included are restaurants that passed with no violations.
